TRAINING & SAFETY :: Steel erection is our trade and as tradesmen we strive to be experts in all aspects of the field, including safety. Our goal is that no one in this industry should know more about steel erection safety than us. We live it every day. In 2001 OSHA rewrote the rules on steel erection safety and our company was involved in that process five years prior to that date. We know OSHA Subpart R intimately and when we hire new employees, we assure ourselves that the knowledge will be passed down. Steel erection being one of the most dangerous professions in the industry, we have a duty to train, recognize and be aware of the hazards, and put safety number one on our priorities. Our foremen and supervisors must understand the rules and foresee hazards in order to prevent them. Being an AISC Certified Advanced Steel Erector, safety and methods are pre-planned. Skills and Safety Training is done on a regular basis because "A Trained Ironworker is a Safe Ironworker" .
